April top wines

Among red and white wines, the list of April top wines made by Enoteca Properzio boasts some of the most appreciated Italian excellences in the world.

Gewurztraminer Lunare Kellerei Terlan: this 100% Gewurztraminer with greenish reflections comes from Trentino-Alto Adige. Honey, yellow fruit and lavender are the first scents to hit your nose, leaving space, in a second moment, to the taste of orange peel on the palate. With such a special wine, you can opt for several winning pairings: from pasta to fish, from cheese to white meat.

Pipparello Montefalco Rosso Riserva Paolo Bea: from the balanced and harmonious union of Sangiovese (60%), Montepulciano (25%) and Sagrantino (15%) you get a red wine with prune and blackberry aroma, balanced by vanilla and black pepper. Structured, delicate and intense on the palate, this wine from Umbria has also classy and elegant notes of dark chocolate, cherry and blackcurrant. An ideal mix for a menu of red meat.

Hatteso Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva Garbole 2011: an Amarone della Valpolicella which is now renowned not only among the top wines from Veneto, but from all over Italy. A strong wine, for sure, a rare pearl to be tasted on special occasions.

Sauvignon Blanc SVGB Fendi selection Enoteca: a white wine that presents itself from the first sip as very complex and rich in minerals. Thanks to its very balanced sourness, this wine is exceptional together with white meat.

Chianti Classico San Giusto a Rentennano: this fresh and energetic 100% Sangiovese comes from Tuscany. A bottle that we suggest to pair with dishes made with truffles precisely for its energy and for the finish of pepper and cherry.
